Electronics Mechanic (Motor Vehicle Operator)

Duties

Performs complex Range Maintenance operations to include electronical, mechanical, soldering and equipment operations which includes designing and fabricating unique training targets and devices.

Works on equipment such as target training devices such as very high frequency transmitters and receivers, target interface unit, small arms noise-flash simulators.

Evaluates fault reports to determine if an item should be returned to repair section or if repair or adjustment can be made so testing can continue.

Resets all items after repairs are completed to ensure that they can pass the diagnostic test without error.
