Surface Mount Technology (SMT) ProgrammerQuintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Programmer whose main responsibilities will include creating, updating and maintaining SMT programs including AOI, SPI machines. This role will ensure all programs are up to date and verify ECO's (Engineering change orders).
This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only Located at our Quintech Electronics headquarters location in Indiana, PA! Additional duties include:Program, optimization and support manufacturingDevelop and implement a plan to eliminate on line program debugRoot cause Defect analysesRead and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.Perform tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail.Ensure all programs are up to date, and error free.Program transfers from computer database to SMT machines in a timely manner to help improve SMT efficiency.Perform other related tasks that are assigned and work overtime as needed.Candidate requirements: Experience working with or familiar with similar software & equipment:Panasonic data generation softwareMentor Graphic PCB design softwareGerber viewers and editing softwarePanasonic placement machine,Koh Young AOI and SPI equipmentSkills:Strong analytical skills and detail orientedExcellent communication and collaborative skillsMicrosoft Office (Word & Excel)Knowledge of SMT manufacturing processKnowledge of IPC standards related to SMTWe offer a competitive salary and excellent benefit package which includes: Paid Time off, Paid Holidays, Medical/Dental/Vision, Company-Paid Life insurance, Employee Appreciation Events....and More!
