We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a leading provider of industrial market products.
This key Electrical Engineer will support the innovation, design, programming, and maintenance of electrical systems for packaging equipment. The ideal candidate is a technically strong engineer who thrives on building, troubleshooting, and integrating mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced, vertically integrated environment.
Design, program, and commission electrical control systems for industrial dynamic equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues across drives, PLCs, sensors, and sequencing systems.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams to integrate electrical solutions and optimize equipment performance in packaging solutions.
Lead retrofit and automation projects, including customer coordination, engineering design, and commissioning.
Maintain and improve electrical documentation, schematics, and technical reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by introducing innovative electrical solutions to optimize production efficiency.
Provide technical training and mentorship to technicians and operators.
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related.
~ Certified Engineering Technician (OACETT or equivalent).
~3+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, or manufacturing environments.
Experience in strapping, packaging, or equipment development is highly valued.
Proven track record of developing products from concept through implementation, including prototyping and testing.
