Electronic Test TechnicianCACI is seeking an Electronics Test Technician who can serve as a skilled technical specialist to build, align and test high precision Electro-Optical and mechanical systems in support of production Space/Satellite programs and aid engineers in the development of test and alignment fixtures and tools.Testing components for Space Flight Optical Inter Satellite Link TerminalsWork Environment:Cleanroom environment requiring safety precautionsESD and FOD controlled areasIndependent work with technical documentationCollaboration with test engineersResponsibilities:Test PCBA, fiber/laser optic assemblies, and electrical hardwarePerform electrical, fiber optic, and laser testing and characterizationFollow test procedures and maintain detailed documentationDocument test failures in reporting systemsSupport cleanroom test equipment maintenanceAssist engineers in improving test proceduresQualifications: Required:5 years of related experience (or equivalent combination with education)Testing custom electromechanical, electronic, fiber optic, and laser assembliesWorking with PCBA testingUnderstanding of electrical engineering principlesKnowledge of fiber optics and laser operation/safetyAbility to follow detailed work instructionsProficiency with test equipment:Multimeters, oscilloscopes, power suppliersFunction generators, optical power metersFiber optic test equipment, laser sourcesOptical spectrum analyzers (OSA), BERT scopeDesired:Associate degree in technical fieldMicro-electronics assembly experienceIPC-610 certification (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies)IPC-620 certification (Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies)J-STD-001 with Space Addendum (Soldered Electrical/Electronic Assemblies)Electronics test certificationsLaser Safety TrainingWhat You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
