You'll work alongside a team to support our products' lifecycle and uphold the high standards expected in public safety communications.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair RF communication products including mobile and portable land mobile radios (LMR)Setup and conduct tests on products to verify they adhere to company standardsUtilize specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generatorsPerform firmware updates, alignments, and component-level repairsDocument service activities, parts usage, and repair outcomes in internal systemsMaintain quality control standards and comply with ISO proceduresSupport root cause analysis for product failures and contribute to continuous improvementProvide technical support to customers through email and/or phone callsAbility to work in a production environment and follow standard manufacturing processes to include ESD requirementsAll other duties assigned by supervisorKnowledge & Skills:Strong understanding of RF theory with analog and digital electronicsProficiency in soldering and reworking PCBs at component level a plusStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office requiredAbility to interpret schematics, datasheets, and service manualsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to communicate effectively with fellow staff members and customers requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamConfidentiality and Strong attention to detail and time management skillsQualifications:Education: Associate's degree from an accredited institutionExperience: 3–5 years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experienceFCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) a plusMust be eligible to work in the United StatesWork Conditions:Occasional overtime may be required during peak periodsOn-site role in a production environment with some exposure to RF emissionsRequires sitting, walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, liftingTravel between floors and office buildings may be requiredEnvironmental conditions: noise, vibration, oils, solvents, chemicalsSafety protocols and PPE provided as neededBK Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
