Telematics Testing Team PositionThis position is on the End to End Telematics Testing Team where the individual will work in a team environment utilizing simulation as well as actual Hardware in the Loop to test all aspects of the Client’s Digital system including both onboard the machine as well as back office features.In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in software verification, troubleshooting, and test automation. You will be part of a global team and work closely with others to conduct release testing, resolve issues, automate testing, and investigate field issues involving both software and electronics.Engineers must manage their own development, continuously learning through experience and staying abreast of technology. Key skills to be developed at this level are optimal techniques for utilizing vender/internal tools for verification/validation, knowledge of the NPI process, and communication skills.Responsibilities:Clarify product requirements and ensure alignment with appropriate stakeholdersAssist in the creation of validation plans and use the acceptance criteriaEvaluate existing validations controls, standard test procedures for effective risk mitigationExecute and/or coordinate execution of product tests utilizing HIL equipment with physical control ECUAnalyze test results and summarize conclusionsDocument test conclusions with traceabilityTrack product development issues to completionCommunicate technical information to team members and other business unitsGenerate and present accurate reports for validation thoroughness, status, and resultsInnovate for efficiencyTechnical Skills Required:Experience with HIL system testing and hardware setup / maintenanceExperience with testing service tools and remote configuration of productsExperience with developing test automation with PythonBasic knowledge of Machine and Engine ECU’s and software update processes.Basic knowledge of Machine Datalink architecture, including SAE J1939Soft Skills Required:Good Communication skills.Education & Experience Required:Engineering Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-3 years of experience ORMaster’s degree with at least 0-2 years of experience in an electronics controls field.This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
