Operations Test Support Engineer
Location: Wayne, NJ — onsite
Pay Rate: $60/hour

Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced electronics engineer to support circuit card testing and troubleshoot complex circuit boards down to the component level. This role requires strong electronics troubleshooting skills, experience with digital processing hardware, and proficiency using laboratory test equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for circuit card testing and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and isolate faults on complex circuit boards down to individual components.
- Troubleshoot CPUs, FPGAs, and RAM/ROM interfaces.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics to identify circuit behavior and potential failures.
- Use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Analyze and resolve problems involving densely integrated signal processing circuits.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of electronics troubleshooting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; demonstrated electronics troubleshooting capability may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Extensive experience with CPUs, FPGAs, and RAM/ROM interfaces.
- Proficiency using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Ability to read complex schematics and perform component-level troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Active Secret security clearance at the start of the assignment.
- U.S. citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with eight or more years of electronics troubleshooting experience.
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of required background screening and drug screening.
- Availability to work the assigned first-shift schedule and anticipated overtime.
