Electronic/Electrical Tech IILocation: Richland, WAThis position performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Uses hand/power tools and test meters.

Tests, inspects, troubleshooting, and repairs machines and equipment.Job RequirementsHave an acceptable record with the company for safety, attendance, and have no disciplinary actions on file.Be able to utilize SAP for any maintenance requirements including: writing a Work Order, Adding comments to Work Orders, looking up spare parts and bill of materials.Averages an overall PM completion rate of 90% year to date.Averages A critical PM completion of 98% year to date.Actively writes adequate notifications for items observed needing attention.Current on all LOTO validations, Safety trainings and required certifications.People skillsWorks well with team members this includes but limited toCommunication skills: Effectively expressing ideas and actively listening to othersConflict Resolution: Resolving disagreements with colleagues professionally and constructivelyGood attitude this includes but is not limited toPunctuality: Arriving on time for shifts or meetings consistentlyPositive communication: Demonstrating positivity in interactions with team members from within and out of the maintenance departmentAdaptability: willingness to embrace change and handle challenges with constructive attitudeOpenness to feedback: receiving constructive feedback with a receptive and positive attitude.Good Work Ethic, this includes but is not limited toEffective time management; prioritizing tasks to maximize your day. This includes but is not limited to, team work on line calls, PM completion, notifications, collaboration on projectsCommunicates well with other departments, supervisors,Shows leadership and can take charge of a situation to solve a problemGood troubleshooting skillsWilling to work overtime or off shift when neededNecessary Skills RequiredUnderstanding of instrumentation and equipment.Understanding of motor controls.Capable to be on shift with minimal supervisionBasic understanding in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, and meggers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.Have formal training or experience in mechanics, electricity, electrical schematics, with an understanding of instruments and controlsMaintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes at the state and federal levelsAble to use computer efficiently for keeping records, filling out log sheets, email.
