Electronic Assembler / SolderingVolt is immediately hiring Soldering Assemblers for a local leading manufacturing company in Kearny Mesa, CA.As a Soldering Assembler you will:Builds cable and wire harnesses, box assemblies, kits, and other products from start to finish while working under indirect supervisionFollows work orders, instructions, and sample assemblies to complete tasksPerforms tasks such as labeling, cutting wires, crimping, soldering, assembling parts, packaging, and testing for qualityWork with variety of different cables such as round, shielded, flat, and coax cable.Utilize traditional and non-traditional tools such as cable strippers, cable cutters, crimp tools, heat guns, pliers, screwdrivers, and more)Assist in the QMS and the commitment for continuous improvementMay be assigned other duties as neededThis is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.The ideal candidate will have:Required Skills & Qualifications 1-2 years experience in electro- mechanical assemblySoldering and electrical experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent manufacturing work relatedMust have good hand/eye coordination and the ability to use microscopesAble to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, electrical drawings, etc.Ability to use hand tools- long nose pliers, side cutter, and soldering iron.Must be able to distinguish colorsAbility to compute measurements accuratelyPreferred Skills & Qualifications Knowledge IPC 610/ 620, J-STD-001 certificationBilingual in English and SpanishSchedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PMPay Rate: $21.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
