Electromechanical TechnicianRadiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company, is seeking a talented Electromechanical Technician to support the Scientific and Technical Intelligence Group. Successful candidates will be quality-focused with experience installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing various mechanical and electronic systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and DoD regulations. Candidate must be a team player with the ability to multitask across several projects.Key Responsibilities:Assemble, integrate, and test mechanical and electrical system components per engineering drawings and procedures.Fabricate, assemble, install, repair, modify, test, operate, and troubleshoot electrical modules, components, and wire harnessesOperate shop related machinery to include common hand tools, scales, calipers, and micrometersOperate electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, waveform generators, power supplies, and multimeters.Follow Electronic Static Discharge prevention (ESD) practicesInspect finished products for conformance to specificationsWork from written and verbal instructionsProvide support across multiple projects simultaneouslyCollaborate with engineers and other technicians to achieve project objectivesMaintain detailed records of all troubleshooting, assembly, disassembly, and repair proceduresGenerate delivery-quality documentation to document best practices and proceduresExecute responsibilities in both laboratory and field environmentsRequired Qualifications:US Citizenship with an active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI with polygraph10+ years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician.
At least 5 years of this experience must include military weapon disassembly, integration, repair, and assemblyProficiency in electronic assembly, soldering, crimping, splicing, cable fabrication, PCB population, PCB rework, and control panel buildingAbility to perform and/or assist in all activities, including the use of hand and power tools, lifting heavy objects, and working with industrial chemicals and adhesives such as epoxy, glues, paints, and cleanersAbility to stand and sit for long periods of time including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working from elevated surface on a regular basisAbility to operate manual mill and latheAbility to adapt to dynamic and frequently changing customer requirementsAbility to work independently to achieve project objectives by deadlineAbility to lift 35 poundStrong verbal and written communication skillsDesired Qualifications:Ammunition and explosive handling certificationExperience welding to fabricate custom mechanical solutionsFormal Cable assembly training with certificationForklift operation certificationCrane operation certificationScissor lift operation certificationRadiance Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
