This is an excellent opportunity for an inspector with strong mechanical and electromechanical inspection experience who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.ScheduleMonday-FridaySecond shift with overtime and weekendsFull-time (40+ hours/week)Long-term contract (1-2 years)Local candidates only $32-$36/hourlyKey Responsibilities:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of mechanical and electromechanical componentsConduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipmentVerify compliance to engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirementsSupport witness inspections, including CMM program runsReview First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation for completeness and traceabilityVerify workmanship, hardware installation, torque markings, cleanliness, and product conformityDocument and report nonconforming materialCompile inspection reports and final inspection packagesAudit inspection plans and validate inspection methodsVerify shipping documentation and product preservation prior to shipmentRequired Qualifications:5+ years of manufacturing experienceMinimum 2 years as a Mechanical or Electromechanical Quality InspectorStrong experience inspecting precision machined componentsProficient with precision inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and related equipmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and complex GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Experience performing dimensional inspections on tight-tolerance partsExperience validating complex mechanical assembliesPrevious certification (or current certification) in GD&T ASME Y14.5 preferredExperience supporting CMM inspections or working alongside CMM operatorsComfortable using Gmail, Google Workspace, tablets, and digital inspection documentationPreferred Qualifications:Electrical or electromechanical manufacturingAerospace or defense manufacturingSupplier quality or source inspectionInspection of brackets, clips, doublers, splices, drip shields, and similar assemblies$32 - $36 an hour Why Join SQA Services?
