Electromechanical AssemblersFarmington, NM Immediately Temporary/ContractDescriptionCome create your career with Volt!Volt is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Electronic Assemblers in Farmington, NM.As an Electronic Assembler, you will:Read and interpret written and verbal work instructions to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established procedures and quality standardsFollow all safety requirements, company processes, and production proceduresUse a variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly and production activitiesPerform mechanical, electrical, electronic, and electromechanical assembly tasksConduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet specificationsIdentify product defects and complete required documentationRework and repair products in accordance with engineering and specification changesReport quality, equipment, material, and process issues to supervisorsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including adherence to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) requirementsAssist with material handling and other manufacturing support activitiesParticipate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiativesCross train in other departments and support additional production-related duties as neededEnsure equipment is properly calibrated and used according to established proceduresThis is a full-time, long-term assignment. 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm.Electronic Assembler candidates must meet the following requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious manufacturing, production, assembly, or related experience preferredAbility to read and follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applicationsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracyAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for up to 10-hour shiftsAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 poundsGood manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust maintain an active email addressMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts as requiredMust successfully complete all required screenings and background checksPay for this position is $20.82/hr.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
