The Electro/Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies according to specifications. This may include system-level assembly, sub-assembly testing, reconditioned hardware, and packaging functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble sub-assemblies and system-level hardware.
- Build, test, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies per specifications.
- Perform in-process sub-assembly testing of products being manufactured, as required.
- Complete Device History Record (DHR) data.
- Perform assembly and testing requirements for reconditioned hardware, when required.
- Perform packaging functions within Instruments Manufacturing, when required.
- Maintain compliance with Hologic policies, QSR, ISO, and EH&S requirements.
- Provide training as needed.
- Participate in reducing workplace risk and injury by identifying risks and implementing controls to eliminate or minimize hazards.
- Support internal departmental audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Hologic policies, QSR, ISO, and EH&S requirements.
- Support day-to-day manufacturing and service operations, forecasting, regulatory compliance, and company policies.
