Assembly Technician IIThe Assembly Technician II independently performs a broader range of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks with minimal supervision. This role requires demonstrated technical competency, the ability to interpret schematics, and consistent delivery of quality work across moderately complex assemblies.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electrical components using drawings, schematics, and work instructionsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specificationsAssemble simple electronic components and subassembliesUse hand tools and measurement tools (e.g., calipers) accuratelyTroubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues and escalate complex problems as neededPerform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specificationsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentFollow all prescribed safety regulations and company policiesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED preferredDemonstrated experience assembling mechanical and electrical componentsAbility to read schematics and technical drawingsWorking knowledge of measurement tools and tolerancesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and qualityExperience LevelTypically 2–4 years of relevant assembly experience or demonstrated equivalent competencyLevel of SupervisionWorks with minimal supervision
