The Opportunity
As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating radar systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of Electro‑optic Infrared (EO/IR) systems.
At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve EO/IR performance of a variety of platforms. Our team supports the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance and help develop and integrate upgrades that enhance warfighters’ competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Experience in EO/IR systems.
- Knowledge of systems integration challenges.
- Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to enhance warfighter capabilities.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field.
Nice to Have
- Experience with modern Navy EO/IR systems.
- Experience with the SETR process.
- Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting.
- Knowledge of system targeting algorithms and test techniques.
- Ability to analyze EO/IR designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
