Electro-Mechanical TechnicianEarn $40.57/hour as an Electro-Mechanical Technician. The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.Job tasks to include:Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsWorks with production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issuesWorks in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM's to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipmentLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsWires and installs AC/DC motors, drives, racks and motion control equipmentElectrical trouble shooting using the proper tools and PPEControls downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniquesFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipmentMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsUses computer system to document work and account for partsCommunicates with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or otherMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork Hour Details/Compensation:This is a rotating shift position.
