Electro-Mechanical TechnicianEarn $40.57/hour as an Electro-Mechanical Technician. The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.Job tasks to include:Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsWorks with production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issuesWorks in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEM's to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipmentLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsWires and installs AC/DC motors, drives, racks and motion control equipmentElectrical trouble shooting using the proper tools and PPEControls downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniquesFabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipmentMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needsUses computer system to document work and account for partsCommunicates with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or otherMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork Hour Details/Compensation:This is a rotating shift position. It is an 8-hour shift Monday - Friday that rotates weekly between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shiftThis position may be required to work overtime up to 12 hours/day or on Saturdays/Sundays depending on the volume of work and/or special projectsElectro-Mechanical Associate degree required$40.57 per hourKnowledge, Skills or Abilities to include:Ability to read and understand machine part lists, preventative maintenance manuals, schematics and blueprintsProficient computer skills including the ability to navigate and perform needed duties on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ability to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instrumentsAbility to operate equipment including machines, alignment tools, high lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts, etc.Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controlsPhysical Requirements:Lifting up to 75 lbs.
