Electro-Mechanical Technician 2nd ShiftLocation: Watertown, WI, US, 53094 Shift: Second Shift Employment Type: Hourly Full-time Position Facility: WatertownPay Range: $33.07/hr - $45.34/hr + $1.50 Shift Premium Hours: 2:00pm – 10:30pm, Monday – Friday (Overtime as production demands)You will be directly involved in the Reliability and Maintenance of the equipment and processes we use to produce our great tasting sausage. This position will not only be involved in maintaining current equipment, but it will allow you to apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques and concepts on our way to helping Johnsonville become the "Best Company in the World."ResponsibilitiesApply RCM techniques to improve the performance of a variety of production equipmentPerform maintenance of utility equipmentTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on various production and utility equipment and apply RCA techniques to improve and eliminate future problemsWork on projects (i.e. machining, fabrication, Capital projects and working with outside vendors)Help gather information to create technical equipment data for development of preventative maintenance information for SAPAssist with new equipment installation and/or equipment relocationMaintain facilities and equipment to meet Johnsonville, OSHA and U.S.D.A.

standardsBe part of teams that implement ideas to improve uptime of plant equipment through equipment modifications, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenancePreventive maintenance of all plant equipmentMaintain/monitor inventory system for plant and utility equipmentImprove uptime on plant equipment through machine modification, layout adjustments, and general machine maintenanceMaintain all utility areas in a neat/orderly fashionAbility to perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient mannerExperienceIndustrial maintenance experience is required Experience in ammonia refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning and steam generation (boiler), is a plus Basic Electrical experience/understanding is required (PLCs are a plus.) –Willingness to learn is essentialSkillsStrong written and verbal communication skills required Basic computer skills required Member must be highly motivated with high expectations Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.Physical DemandsMust be able to lift, carry and hand grip up to 65 lbs, and pull up to 20 lbs Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shiftOther RequirementsMust be at least 18 years old Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background checkBenefits and CompensationMembers have potential for a monthly bonus and 401k with a company match.
