Electro-Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianJoin Amcor as an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician and support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing all facilities and manufacturing equipment including but not limited to: construction, painting, plumbing, welding, heating/cooling, automation, and fire protection systems in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the Maintenance Manager.Shift: NIGHTS Monday – Thursday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.Compensation & Benefits: Value, RecognizedWe reward great work with:Pay: $30.90+/hour (based on experience) + $1.00/hour night shift premiumOvertime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8%Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on day onePaid time off and holidaysGrowth and development opportunitiesWhat you'll do:Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on electrical and control systemsInstall, modify, and maintain motors, drives, PLCs, and related equipmentSupport preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtimeEnsure compliance with safety, EHS, and operational standardsCollaborate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and effectivelyDocument work performed and maintain accurate recordsProactively identify improvement opportunities for equipment reliability and efficiencyPreferred qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical/electronics preferred3+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and electrical troubleshootingAbility to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manualsComputer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and maintenance systemsStrong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsAbility to work safely with high-voltage systems and equipmentCapable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environmentOur Core Values guide us: Safety, Integrity, Collaboration, Accountability, Results, and Outperformance.Physical RequirementsStand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Work on and around machinery for extended periodsUse hands, arms, and tools for electrical troubleshooting and repairPerform tasks in a fast-paced production environmentWhy Amcor?Be part of a global leader while working in a team-driven environment at our Asheville plant.
