The OpportunityIn this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-voltage substations and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) projects within Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business. Your work supports grid owners in increasing power transfer capacity, improving system stability, and integrating power more efficiently into existing networks. You will be involved across project phases, from tender support through detailed design, manufacturing documentation, installation, and commissioning.

The work spans electro-mechanical and primary/physical design, requiring coordination with electrical, civil, system engineering, and global team members. You will address complex technical challenges involving station layouts, grounding, lightning protection, structural components, and 3D plant models, while working within applicable codes and standards.
