Electro-MechanicNesco Resource is looking for an Electro-Mechanic located in Bethel, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 11AM-6PM Pay: $32-$35/hour depending on experience Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and electrical systems.

This hands-on role is responsible for minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting continuous production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacementTroubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, bearings, gearboxes, drives, pumps, and rotating equipmentDiagnose electrical and control system issues involving sensors, relays, PLC I/O, HMIs, and low-voltage control circuitsRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsSupport equipment startups, shutdowns, repairs, and commissioning activitiesAssist with machinery upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement projectsIdentify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actionsDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance trendsRespond to production equipment issues quickly to minimize downtimeWork collaboratively with operators, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issuesFollow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and maintenance standardsParticipate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance supportQualificationsPrevious experience in an Electro-Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or similar maintenance roleStrong understanding of mechanical systems and industrial electrical equipmentExperience troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with PLCs, control circuits, sensors, relays, and industrial automation systemsAbility to independently diagnose and repair complex equipment issuesExperience working with high-voltage equipment and low-voltage controls preferredComfortable using diagnostic equipment, electrical meters, and hand/power toolsStrong attention to safety and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial settingExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
