Description
Our client, the U.S.'s largest commercial real estate services firm, has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join a growing facilities team supporting a large industrial campus in Tucson, AZ . This contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse environment that includes office buildings, laboratories, and warehouse facilities while performing preventive maintenance and electrical repairs that directly support daily operations. If you enjoy hands-on electrical work, value variety in your day, and want the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative maintenance team, this is an excellent opportunity. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am - 4pm.
What You'll Do
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial electrical systems and building equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete repairs to maintain safe, reliable facility operations.
  • Install, repair, and replace electrical components including wiring, switches, motors, lighting systems, and electrical controls.
  • Review work orders, complete assigned maintenance tasks, and accurately document completed work.
  • Assist with equipment installations and modifications as needed.
  • Follow all facility safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
  • Maintain organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Provide professional customer service while interacting with facility occupants and team members.
  • Support additional maintenance activities as needed.
Must-Have Skills
  • 2-3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • General knowledge of commercial or industrial electrical equipment.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Commercial facility maintenance experience.
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) experience.
  • Electrician's license.
  • NFPA 70E Certification.
  • NFPA Qualified Electrical Worker Certification.
