Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Commercial Electricians to join a growing Special Projects Team in Richmond, Virginia . What You'll Do
- Perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and control systems
- Install and repair relays, starters, switches, motors, motor control centers, switchgear, transformers, power distribution equipment, heat tracing systems, and cable trays
- Determine appropriate conduit sizes
- Pull and terminate conductors
- Install junction boxes and associated electrical components
- Support retrofits, commercial construction projects, installations, equipment replacements, and service projects
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and project leadership
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman-level experience with power and control wiring and commercial electrical installations
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned projects with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and industry practices
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes
- Understanding of OSHA safety requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Completion of an applicable electrical trade school or apprenticeship program
- Leadership experience
