Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on electrical experience, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and equipment.
- Install and troubleshoot electrical panels, breakers, circuits, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Use electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools safely.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Run and connect wires, cables, conduits, and junction boxes.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC and applicable local codes.
- Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and other team members.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electrician experience preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
- Electrical license/certification preferred, depending on location and job requirements.
