Electrician - Facilities

Full-Time

Pennswood Village, a senior living community located in Newtown, PA - Bucks County - is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Facilities team. This position performs skilled electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout our community.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems

• Diagnose and correct power failures, short circuits, and other electrical problems.

• Perform electrical repairs on facility equipment, including heating, cooling, and food preparation equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.

• Perform general facilities maintenance and assist with emergency situations as needed.

• Participate in rotating weekend, holiday, off-shift, and emergency on-call coverage.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of electrical or related maintenance experience .

• Trade school, technical education, or electrical apprenticeship experience preferred.

• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.

• Ability to safely use electrical tools and equipment.

• Must provide basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, climb, kneel, reach and stoop and lift approximately 20-65 pounds. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
