Electrician

Providence Staffing's client in Mobile, AL is seeking experienced and dependable Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to safely operate electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, alter, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Inspect wiring, electrical components, and equipment for proper operation.
• Use voltmeters, ammeters, and other specialized electrical testing equipment.
• Repair or replace wiring, switches, outlets, fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and job-site requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional electrical and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical installation, maintenance, or repair experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Experience using voltmeters, ammeters, and other electrical testing tools.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Ability to safely operate electrical hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Dependable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Compensation

$21.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
