Journeyman Electrician / Electrical Apprentice

Duration: 6-month Contract-to-Hire

Per Diem: $155/day

Project: Federal Commercial/Industrial Construction

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Apprentices to support a federal construction project in Mission, TX. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering $155/day in per diem.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installation and construction work on a federal project
• Install conduit, raceways, wiring, cable, panels, fixtures, and other electrical components
• Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
• Perform wiring, terminations, and general electrical installations
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Work closely with foremen, electricians, and other trades to maintain project schedules
• Follow all project-specific and OSHA safety requirements

Requirements:

• Current Journeyman Electrician License OR Electrical Apprentice License
• OSHA 10 certification
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical construction experience
• Hands-on experience with conduit, wiring, terminations, and electrical installations
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
• Strong understanding of construction jobsite safety
• Ability to work onsite in Mission, TX
• Available to start November 30, 2026

Preferred Experience:

• Previous federal or government construction experience
• Large-scale commercial or industrial construction experience
• Experience in highly regulated, safety-focused project environments
