Electrician Training Position
To train as an Electrician in order to maintain, repair, replace, and install electrical and electronic equipment. The hourly rate of pay is $35.83 per hour. Daily job duties include following all company safety rules and procedures, working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, testing and calibrating equipment including optimizers and instrumentation, troubleshooting using electrical test equipment and PLCs, programming and troubleshooting VFDs and PLCs, maintaining all electrical equipment such as motors, lighting, and other devices, calculating and installing conduit and wire for projects and repairs, working regularly scheduled shifts and overtime as required, and assisting in maintaining proper housekeeping plant wide. Additionally, assist in training of new and/or lower-class employees. Requirements include prior industrial electrical experience and some PLC programming training.
