Job Description

Power Labor is hiring an experienced Journeyman Electrician and Electrician Helpers for an upcoming electrical project in the Dalton, OH area.

This is a 4–8 week project with the potential to keep qualified tradespeople working on future Power Labor opportunities after the project is completed.

Journeyman Electrician

We are looking for an experienced electrician with a strong background in commercial electrical work and low-voltage controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation and wiring
• Install and work with low-voltage controls and control wiring
• Read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
• Assist with troubleshooting and installation
• Work safely and efficiently alongside the electrical crew
• Maintain a clean, organized, and productive jobsite

Requirements

• Experienced Journeyman Electrician
• Low-voltage controls experience required
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and jobsite practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Electrician Helper

We are also hiring a dependable Electrician Helper to work alongside the electrical crew.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize wire
• Assist electricians with installations
• Load, unload, and stage materials
• Handle tools and materials as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with other electrical and jobsite tasks as needed

Previous electrical or construction experience is preferred. Candidates who are dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work are encouraged to apply.

• Duration: Approximately 4–8 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time
• Local candidates only; no per diem
