Electrician I
The Electrician I may perform a variety of significant tasks supporting the overall performance and safety of pistachio & almond production machinery and systems. Tasks are performed across multiple facilities, including our locations in Lost Hills, Kings, Wonderful Hulling and Shelling (WHS), El Dorado, and Firebaugh.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting and replacement of E3's and E300's components under supervision.
- Assist in the replacement of 480V devices with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot, correct, and replace 24VDC devices.
- Perform troubleshooting and replacement of electrical components (e.g., relays, safety relays, contactors, I/O cards, power supplies) under minimal supervision.
- Safely pull electrical wire following standard work procedures.
- Communicate concisely with support teams, peers, and Zone Leader to ensure any issues are escalated appropriately.
- Prioritize and complete tasks based on urgency, safety impact, and production needs, including assisting with unscheduled service requests (Do It Now calls) and scheduled services as needed.
- Utilize Slack to respond to service requests and document daily issues, while communicating correctives and repairs to the Zone Leader.
- Accurately account for daily work and deliver a clear, concise pass-down for the Zone Leader and the next shift.
- Demonstrate and explain standard work procedures and techniques with colleagues.
- Assist with tasks associated with complex conduit systems involving multiple motors, control units, and wiring with supervision.
- Perform minor mechanical tasks, including but not limited to removing guards, covers, mechanical parts, etc.
- Collaborate with operations staff to provide rapid customer service and support in a production environment.
- Communicate concisely with peers and Zone Leader to ensure any unsolved issues are escalated appropriately.
- Utilizes motor I/O lists and MCC layouts to create labels, label and organize MCC, and disconnects with supervision.
- Able to interpret control panel schematics provided by engineers with assistance.
- Participate in Harvest-related preparation, service requests, or projects.
- Maintain all required food safety and safety certifications and adhere to safety procedures.
- Demonstrate independence in completing tasks without direct supervision.
- Operate company vehicles to complete job-related tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including Associate III.

- Properly use a gas monitor.
- Keep assigned areas of responsibility clean and well organized.
- Demonstrate good judgment when performing written or oral instructions.
- Complete required documents accurately, and in a timely manner (if applicable).
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required).
- Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
- Intermediate-level computer skills are required.
- Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company related meetings as assigned.
- Utilize proper company-provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and tools/equipment as required for the specific task(s) at hand. Only company-provided PPE, tools, and equipment may be used.
- Complete CPR, AED, and First Aid training and all recertification requirements.
- Participate in all "Lock Out-Tag Out" (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
- Observe all "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMPs) as specified by the Company's food safety policy.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $21.65
Qualifications
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
- 1-2 years of related experience recommended.
- Valid CA Driver's License required.
