Electrician
The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and operation of all electrical systems in the district.
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or GED required
- At least three years' experience in electrical field
- Journeyman's License
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Dependable and cooperative. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable
- Performs electrical work in the district that requires a licensed electrician.
- Maintains the time keeping clock, bell systems and public address systems
- Make repairs and new installations that are acceptable to the building code and/or local city ordinance.
- Responsible for successfully completing all work orders and submit to office staff in a timely manner.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Electric power tools, district vehicle, two-way radio, aerial lift, trenching machines
- Strenuous walking, standing, and/or climbing; heavy lifting and carrying.
- Work outside and inside; exposure to extreme weather conditions; working on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; working on ladders and scaffolding.
