Electrician
Esposito Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced electrician to work with a crew in performing electrical work for commercial and residential site utility projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and project specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with a small crew of electricians and apprentices to complete electrical work efficiently.
- Reading and interpreting site plans, blueprints, and electrical schematics to execute wiring and conduit installations.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical components, systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Running wire through conduit, ensuring proper placement and secure connections.
- Coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of work.
- Performing electrical inspections and testing to verify code compliance and system integrity.
- Enforcing and adhering to all company and OSHA safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Ordering materials and ensuring proper inventory of tools and supplies for the crew.
- Training and mentoring crew members, ensuring proper workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of electrical experience.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of NEC codes, conduit bending, wire pulling, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in various weather conditions, and operate hand and power tools.
- Other: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
