Electrical Worker: Track Hoe OperatorPurpose: As an Electrical Worker, you will lead jobs, crews, and projects specializing in residential and multi-family new construction. A primary focus of this role is the installation of underground conduit systems specifically from pedestals to homes and the operation of heavy machinery to facilitate these installations.Responsibilities:Primary Duty: Oversee and execute the installation of underground conduit from pedestals to residential units.Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a track hoe and other machinery for trenching, site preparation, and conduit placement.Project Leadership: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, leading and empowering apprentices and team members.Quality & Oversight: Oversee quality control for all electrical work and manage any subcontractors utilized on-site.Installation: Inspect, install, modify, and maintain electrical fixtures and conduit systems according to applicable building codes.Communication: Coordinate with builders, general contractors, and project managers to maintain schedules and meet deadlines.Qualifications:Technical Skill: Proven experience in installing underground conduit and a strong understanding of local and national electrical codes.Equipment Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in operating a track hoe or similar excavation equipment.Leadership: Strong work ethic with the ability to lead and empower a field team.General: High School Diploma (or equivalent), a valid Driver's License, and excellent communication skills.Availability: Ability to work 6am to 5pm Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.Core Physical RequirementsLifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50–75 lbs independently.Mobility and Agility: Capacity to climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and kneel or crouch for extended periods.Manual Dexterity: Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle small tools and heavy machinery controls with precision.Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of an 8–12 hour shift in varying weather and non-climate-controlled environments.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities.
