Electrical Test EngineerThe Test Engineering Team at SynQor works together on the integration of test hardware and software to support a wide range of power converters and systems. The ideal Electrical Test Engineer will possess a desire to learn about the company's various products and develop creative methods to reliably test them. The Test Engineer will be part of the New Product Introduction Team, and work closely with the Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams in order to design and develop automated test hardware and software, and support test needs in a fast-paced production environment.Responsibilities:Work together to develop, implement, and maintain test processes for new product designs, primarily using NI TestStand and LabVIEW.Be self-motivated in addressing test issues by troubleshooting, planning, and implementing timely and effective solutions.Work closely with various teams in order to define test requirements and support product testing from design prototype through release.Communicate test functionality and data analysis interpretations to technical and non-technical audiences.Education & Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is requiredPrevious experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plusPrevious experience designing and troubleshooting power converters is a plusSkills & Knowledge:NI TestStand and LabVIEW development experience a major plusNH Research ATE Systems experienceDesign and troubleshooting experience of power convertersTest instrumentation bus familiarity, IEEE-488, LXI, PXITest circuit and fixture design for high voltage and currentPCB design and layout a plus (PADS PowerLogic and PowerPCB)Hi-pot test hardwareBurn-in system developmentStatistical process control and analysisAnalytical thinking and good troubleshooting skillsGood documentation practices are requiredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
