We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by maintaining electrical infrastructure, production machinery, and control systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by maintaining electrical infrastructure, production machinery, and control systems in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical failures involving motors, control circuits, sensors, relays, and PLC-controlled systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, ladder logic, and technical manuals
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, and power distribution systems
- Assist with equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant expansion projects
- Support PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) including I/O checks and fault diagnostics
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and lockout/tagout safety procedures
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately
- Work closely with mechanical maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve equipment reliability
- High School Diploma or GED (Technical or vocational training preferred)
- 3+ years of electrical experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems (120V-480V, 3-phase power)
- Experience with motors, drives, contactors, sensors, and safety devices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, overtime, and on-call as required
- Electrical Technician, Journeyman, or Industrial Electrician certification
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience with automation systems and production lines
- Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
- CMMS experience for maintenance tracking
