We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with a strong background in Panel Wiring, Mechanical Assembly, Electronic Assembly, and harness installation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the construction, maintenance, and installation of Emperion Vacuum Coating Systems & Plasma Generation Pulsers with minimal supervision, ensuring high precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly of Vacuum Coating Equipment:

· Read and interpret electrical & Electronic schematics, build diagrams, and assembly instructions accurately.

· Handle and prepare Electrical and Electronic sub-assemblies' surfaces cabinets, ensuring correct installation and surface preparation.

· Knowledge about electronic parts, knowledge of soldering PCBs, and preparing wire harnessing skills. (SMT soldering skill is a plus)

· Lift, carry, and install parts or assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Maintain tools, work area, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

· Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, or service of industrial Electric or electronic systems or industrial machines.

· Prior experience working in customer-facing roles, with a focus on providing excellent service and support.

· Eager to learn, and receptive to being informed about new technologies in technical matters.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and vacuum components of coating systems.

· Experience with PLCs, electrical circuits, and control systems is a plus (especially Siemens 15000 series of PLCs is a plus).

· Strong knowledge of vacuum pumps, chambers, seals, and valves and their electric installations.

· Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.

· Knowledge of vacuum flanges, surface preparation, and sealing techniques.

· Familiarity with vacuum gauges and pressure measurements.

· High hand–eye coordination and ability to perform fine, delicate operations.

· Basic understanding of component replacement procedures (a plus, not required).

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· The ability to work with high-voltage equipment and strictly adhere to safety regulations.

Soft Skills:

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

· Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs.).

· Ability to work in various environments, including manufacturing facilities, and industrial settings.

· Ability to work on-site for extended periods, often requiring travel and overnight stays.
