Electrical TechnicianLocation: Playa Vista, California (in-person, five days per week)The return lane isn't going to build itself. We're building the return lane. Come build it with us.The TeamWe're looking for an Electrical Technician to build the wiring harnesses and electrical systems that connect Outpost's return vehicles. This is a hands-on role on the machine shop floor, working from schematics and work instructions to fabricate, install, and inspect flight hardware.

You'll work closely with avionics engineers and the integration and test team, supporting everything from harness fabrication to instrumentation during test campaigns.Responsibilities:Fabricate, install, and inspect wiring harnesses and electrical systems for the return vehicleSupport avionics integration, including connector mating, continuity checks, and cable routingFollow detailed work instructions and schematics to build flight hardwareAssist with electrical troubleshooting during integration and testSupport test campaigns, including instrumentation setupMaintain clean, organized, and safe work areasDocument work performed and flag discrepancies to engineeringQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree or technical certification in electronics or electrical fields preferred5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wiring harness fabrication, or systems integrationProficiency reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standardsExperience with crimping, soldering, and cable/harness fabricationFamiliarity with basic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes)Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standardsAbility to work on your feet in a factory/lab environmentPreferred Experience:IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD certificationExperience with aerospace or automotive wiring harnessesExperience with clean rooms or ESD-sensitive proceduresExperience with aerospace/DOD standards and material selectionCompensation:Competitive compensation: $30-$45 hourly salary (non-exempt, overtime eligible), based on experienceAdditional Compensation: Annual performance-based bonuses that reward your impact.Shared upside: Meaningful equity in Outpost so you share directly in the value you help create.Comprehensive healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage to keep you and your loved ones covered.
