Electrical Technician IIFort Worth, TXThe OpportunityInCharge Energy is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the service needs of its customers. The technician will work at the local branch InCharge Office, reporting to the Service Manager. Key aspects of the work include running conduit, wiring and installation, installation of AC level 2 EV chargers, diagnosing and repairing trouble with electrical infrastructure in addition to handling regularly scheduled maintenance of both electrical infrastructure and AC L2 EV charging systems.

The role requires significant regional travel with a focus on ensuring a timely and customer-centered turnkey delivery experience. Key objectives include maintaining safety standards and timely completion of high-quality field installation work, AC L2 EVCS Commissioning and field support.What You'll Do Electric/Infrastructure DutiesBasic understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulationsPanel Work: Deenergized installing breakers, labeling circuits, and understanding load balancingIdentifying and resolving electrical faults efficiently short circuits for lighting and power distributionInstallation of emergency drivers, contactors, time clocks and troubleshoot EMS systemsRepresent the company at client locations with the highest standards of professional conductSupport multi-person work assignments and EPC-related field activities through hands-on assistance with installation and maintenance tasksCapable of performing these tasks under supervision of ET 3 or aboveSpecialty Equipment Maintenance and ServiceShadow and assist experienced technicians in the field to learn EV charging systems, workflows, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices in customer service deliveryPerform preventative maintenance by inspecting, testing, and maintaining EV charging systems as well as electrical infrastructure to ensure performance and uptimeConduct basic troubleshooting and repairs on AC chargers by identifying common issues and restoring functionalityWorkflow and DocumentationCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in Procore, Salesforce and other documentation systemsFollow all safety standards, site requirements, and company proceduresParticipate in training programs to build technical competency and advance within the technician career pathCollaborate with team members and supervisors to complete work efficiently and effectivelyPerform other related duties as assignedYour Experience and Capabilities1-3 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settingsOSHA 10 Card required or ability to obtain OSHA 10 in 120 days of hireAssociate's degree or higher in an applicable technical field is desirableASE or other applicable certifications are desirableCommercial Driver's license or ability to obtain is highly desirableSome EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit installation experienceFamiliarity with smart panels, AC L2 EV chargers, and renewable energy systemsAdaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategyExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsDetail-oriented, resourceful, diligent, and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)Strong safety awarenessBasic troubleshooting aptitudeProficiency with Procore, or equivalent software a plusAbility to Travel 25% - 50%US Hourly Range$31 - $37 USDWhat We OfferFull-time employees enjoy competitive compensation and benefits package including 401(k) matching contribution, health, dental, and vision, paid jury duty, paid holidays, generous vacation and paid sick leave, opportunities for advancement, office meals and snacks, team building events and activities throughout the year.Equal Opportunity EmployerEmployment at InCharge Energy is based solely upon individual merit and qualifications directly related to professional competence.
