Electrical Technician I – 2nd ShiftLocation: Arden, NC (Asheville Area) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 2:00 AM)Ideal CandidateMinimum 2 years' work experience working in power distribution or electrical distribution. A leading manufacturer in the Power Distribution and Control Assemblies industry is seeking an Electrical Technician I to join its team in Arden, NC. This role is responsible for final inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical products prior to shipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with power distribution systems, electrical testing, troubleshooting complex electrical circuits, and interpreting electrical schematics.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow written and verbal instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications to set up, inspect, and test equipment.Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing on assemblies, panels, and components.Conduct final inspections to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications.Troubleshoot electrical test failures and determine root causes.Coordinate corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams.Verify customer orders for completeness and accuracy.Support customer inspections and testing activities.Recommend improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing processes.Maintain testing equipment, calibration records, reports, and documentation.Follow all safety, PPE, housekeeping, and quality standards.Perform additional duties as assigned.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum 2 years of experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.Experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC (Active-Duty Military candidates exempt).Preferred QualificationsAssociate Degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology, Engineering, Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics.Experience working with energized electrical equipment in a testing environment.Required SkillsElectrical TestingPower Distribution SystemsElectrical TroubleshootingElectrical Schematics InterpretationQuality InspectionRoot Cause AnalysisElectrical AssembliesFunctional TestingAdditional InformationFull-time positionComprehensive benefits packageNo relocation assistance availableNo travel requiredEntry-level to early-career opportunity (2–5 years of experience preferred)
