Responsibilities and duties:Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards, codes and customer's concerns, preferences or requirementsRead and interpret blueprintsInspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systemsIdentify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiringQualifications:2+ years experience working as a fire alarm install technician preferredFamiliar with NFPA codes and standardsAbility to communicate both verbally and in writingWorking knowledge of electrical testing equipmentVanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. has dedicated 60 plus years to protecting people and property from life's most devastating events.
