Electrical Engineering Technician

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be working under the supervision of an engineering project manager to perform the following tasks:
- Perform shop testing and QA/QC for protective relay and control panels assembled in our facility.
- Provide onsite commissioning for systems associated with control panels supplied by client.
- Assist with assembly of control panels by validating wiring diagrams and Bill of Material (BOM).
- Assist with Inventory Management and Procurement for control panel shop.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting and testing for existing control and protection systems.
- Perform onsite field survey to support design projects.
- Pay commensurate with experience; training will be provided to candidates willing to learn.
The position will be in Brookfield, CT office. The position will be a combination of office/shop work and travel to customer sites.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license. Legally authorized to work in the US. Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers is essential. Ability to analyze technical data of low to medium complexity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate Degree Background in Electrical Construction or Testing. Expected Salary Range: $30-$35/ hour, Benefits Package, Significant Opportunity for Advancement.
