Electrical TechnicianEaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Electrical Technician, 2nd shift Greenwood, SC. The starting rate for this position is $27.00 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm until 1:00 am. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:The Electrical Technician is responsible for final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products to ensure quality and compliance prior to shipment. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, conduct electrical and electronic testing, and inspect components and connections across a wide range of products, including structures, units, panels, panelboards, controls, and assemblies. You will confirm proper functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, and document or complete required repairs. Success in this position requires the ability to accurately interpret diagrams, schematics, work instructions, and engineered test procedures.Interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, and specifications to set up, inspect, and test equipmentPerform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect panels, assemblies, and components to verify quality and functionalityTroubleshoot test failures, determine root causes, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and supervisory teams on corrective actionsValidate customer orders for accuracy and completeness; support customer inspectors during testing and inspection processesRecommend and assist with improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing methods; ensure required changes and repairs are completedMaintain test equipment, calibration status, test documentation, and inspection recordsAdhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, hygiene standards, and housekeeping practicesThis job description outlines the general nature and level of work associated with this role and is not intended to be a complete list of all responsibilities.

Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.Qualifications:Required (Basic) QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Relocation is not offered for this position.
