All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.Duties, Responsibilities & OtherElectrical Technician 2 assists other Apprentices, Journeyman Electricians and Master Electricians with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems. This position is intended for apprentices who have completed initial training and have demonstrated basic competency in electrical work.

The Apprentice II performs assigned tasks with limited supervision while continuing formal on-the-job training and classroom instruction.Assist in the installation of electrical wiring, conduit, devices, panels, and fixturesPerform basic electrical tasks under the supervision of licensed electriciansRead and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work instructionsPull wire, bend and install conduit, and set electrical boxesInstall receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and low-voltage componentsUse basic electrical testing equipment (multimeters, voltage testers, continuity testers)Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirementsMaintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized work areaTransport materials and stage equipment as neededCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersContinue apprenticeship classroom training and meet program requirementsRequired QualificationsEnrollment in an approved electrical apprenticeship programCompletion of Apprentice I requirements or equivalent field experienceBasic knowledge of electrical theory, tools, and materialsAbility to follow instructions and work safely in a construction environmentWillingness to learn, take direction, and develop technical skillsReliable transportation to job sitesPreferred Qualifications1–2 years of electrical field experienceFamiliarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)Experience in commercial or industrial construction environmentsOSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)Work EnvironmentActive construction sites and occupied facilitiesExposure to electrical hazards, dust, noise, and weather conditionsMay require overtime, night, or weekend work depending on project needsQualificationsEducation and/or Skills Preferred:Highschool Diploma/GEDCertificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required:Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to maintain required certifications.Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment. Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
