Our commitments are underpinned by the belief that safety, collaboration and well-being are integral to success.Amentum is currently seeking for an Electrical Supervisor to support a government contract based in Kings Bay, Georgia.Position SummaryThe Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising the electrical shop prioritizing work assignments, overseeing safety and procedural training, and ensuring electrical work is performed in compliance with applicable electrical code standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise Foremen/General Foremen and coordinate efficient execution of installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systemsEnsure electrical personnel are properly trained and strictly follow required electrical processes and standardsReview work documentation (service orders, work orders, etc.) and ensure they are completed on time, staffed properly, charge codes are correct, and the quality of work meets contract requirements and approved standardsEnsure accurate database of electrical shop activities including material inventory records and electrical suppliesEvaluate electrical personnel for proper performance and work ethicsPerform other qualified duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid Master Electrician License or proof of training/competency or certificate of Completion from Electrical Apprenticeship program or equivalentDemonstrate mastery of applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) and/or British Standard (BS) and pass an electrical trade testKnowledge and skill in safe operation and application of instrumentation to include circuit testers, power analyzers, ground rod resistance meters, ground fault loop impedance testers, and residual current device testersSkill in classifying electrical distribution systems, troubleshooting, and identifying circuit faults and fault loop circuit paths, and proper grounding and bondingAbility to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, instructions, and other technical documentationAdditional knowledge and skill requirements may vary by assignmentMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
