Electrical SupervisorAll American Facility Maintenance - Sunrise, FL 33325OverviewSalary Range $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Salary Position Type Full TimeDescriptionThe Electrical Supervisor manages and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repairs of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity.DutiesSupervises employees and participates in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers' specifications, and written and verbal instructions.Makes schedules, assigns work, and trains employees.Motivates electricians to increase their productivity and meet work goals.Ensures the proper maintenance of equipment.Complies with electrical codes, adhering to safety regulations.Assists with electrical system installation, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed.Purchases supplies, ensures adequate inventory, plans budgets, prioritize purchases, prepares cost estimates by accounting for material cost and labor hours while documenting their purchases.Prepares purchases for Verification Department to make transactions.Hosts interviews and evaluates employees on a regular basis, which includes write-ups and Performance Improvement Plans.Takes care of weekend and after-hour emergencies.Assists department in various tasks and or assignments.QualificationsMust have your own tools and be a self-starter and be able to work on your ownNeed a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordMust be ON TIME and DEPENDABLEMinimum of 3 years' experience/Project ManagementDemonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprintsThorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityExcellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
