Job Summary
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing all field electrical operations on construction or industrial projects. This role oversees installation, scheduling, workforce supervision, safety compliance, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans, codes, and company standards. The Electrical Superintendent works closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate daily activities and resolve field challenges.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Report to the project or construction manager and organize and field manage electrical projects while implementing measures to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%.
- Supervise 4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sites.
- Independently start and manage projects.
- Through managing your team, deliver against the highest standards for daily production, installation methodology, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Help recruit, train, and develop foremen, journeymen, and apprentices.
- Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Have experience managing 2-4 crews/electrical projects ranging from 30,000-100,000 man hours or $10M-$25M with gross margins over 13%.
- Have demonstrated success supervising 2-4 or more supervisors with total responsibility for 50 to 70 employees on one or more sites.
- Have experience leading both large construction and data center projects.
- Have experience utilizing prefabrication.
- Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites with incentives.
- Enjoy leading, developing, and recruiting a team and producing high quality electrical workmanship.
- Be motivated to continue your professional development to obtain LEED and NICET II certifications.
