Relocation to a project site in the US is required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction based on start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
  • Procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, safety training and orientation of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating construction phases to prevent delays.
  • Confers with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce.
  • Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
  • Inspects work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules.
  • Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.
  • Manages Foremen who supervise craft field employees, responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the group; may also directly supervise non‑supervisory employees.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travels as required to attend meetings, site visits, training, etc., and is able to relocate as needed.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in construction or engineering‑related field preferred, or a combination of education and/or 7‑10 years construction supervision work experience.
