This position will be responsible for overseeing the everyday activities of their assigned project, including but not limited to procuring, evaluating, and allocating the resources, materials, tools required for the project and managing the associated documentation for the job. Providing the most cost-effective and efficient means available to produce a profitable project.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDesign/layout processDevelop Task PlannersUnderstand and develop a project approach to profitabilityAttended regular Job site meetings with GC, Owner, and Design TeamRead and understand all project requirements including project contracts and subcontractsEnsure the field team understands the project scope and specificationsCreate and manage detailed plans and schedule, field project schedule and manpower loaderSet and manage expectations for field staffWork with project site field leaders to maintain the project scheduleProvide PM with QTYs for major material items and buyoutsCreate a prefab plan. Work with and manage the project field team as it relates to prefab.Create a tool plan including future projections for the project and maintain the appropriate levels of material and tools during the life of the project.Create Subcontractor schedules/look aheadManage onsite field supervisors and field workforceWork with the GC and other trades to establish a productive and efficient work environmentTrack and manage productivity on the job siteAssist with writing of RFI’sManage rental/ consumable safety/ tooling budgetsEnsure As-builts are up to date and compliant with contract requirementsManage Project labor hours budgets weeklyEnsure all close-out docs have been submittedMaintain efficient and manageable laydownsProduce percent completes for monthly WIP reportsUphold all expectations of standards on QA/QCOther duties as assignedNON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAssist with SGF, GF and Foreman daily dutiesMentoring direct and indirect subordinates and peersIdentify potential leadersIdentify, develop and implement better processesCreate and maintain a positive work environmentREQUIREMENTSOSHA 30 CertificationAt least ten years of electrical experience and 5 years of experience running projects as a primary leadTDLR Electrical Journeyman LicenseOutstanding communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentMust demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook).
