Electrical Superintendent | (Data Center Focus)
Role Overview
Leads all field electrical construction activities from rough-in through energization and commissioning. Responsible for safety, manpower, schedule adherence, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and turnover of complex electrical systems. This role is heavily involved in mission-critical infrastructure such as medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical subcontractors and field crews.
- Coordinate MV/LV power distribution installation and energization.
- Oversee switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, and UPS systems.
- Drive schedule performance and manpower planning.
- Lead QA/QC inspections and turnover documentation.
- Coordinate with MEP trades, commissioning teams, and owners.
- Enforce OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety programs.
Ideal Background
- Journeyman or Master Electrician background.
- 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Experience on hyperscale data centers, healthcare, industrial, semiconductor, or large commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning, utility coordination, and system startup.
- Experience with MV systems, switchgear, generators, UPS, ATS, and EPMS/BMS systems.
