Electrical Superintendent - Mission Critical
Location: Salt Lake City, UT.

Experience / Training
- Bachelor’s degree or 7 to 10 years of related experience working on Mission Critical commercial construction projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working with MEP scopes.
Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide direction and leadership on MEP scope(s) on data center/mission critical projects.
- Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination.
- Represent the company in meetings and interfaces with all project stakeholders.
- Coordinate and direct all subcontractor and vendors.
- Work with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability.
- Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
- Verify that subcontractor completes the assigned scope of work.
- Seek to learn changes in the industry.
Critical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of established construction practices, procedures, and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal building codes.
- Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and tools and proficiency in skilled construction and repair tasks.
- Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook.
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing, and cost control.
- Knowledge of general survey and layout practices.
- Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
- Thorough and attentive to details; extremely organized and able to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to proactively plan and identify risks to meet or exceed the deadline while meeting the safety requirements, productivity goals, sustainability goals and quality.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace.
- Ability to read, understand, and red‑line work orders, budget, change orders, safety standards, plans specifications, shop drawings, submittals, manufacturer’s literature.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, blueprints, contract documents and specifications, and CPM schedules.
- Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
