Electrical SuperintendentGastonia, North Carolina, United StatesAbout the JobWe are looking for an Electrical Superintendent to manage industrial electric projects. Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience. The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job.
The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver & exercises great communication skill with project managers and clients.Duties are but may not be limited to:Managing a crew of 10 -15 electriciansReview plans and layouts provided by the Project ManagerIdentify and communicate conflicts in construction progress with the Project Manager.Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progressControls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changesGenerate weekly and monthly material requestsAttend job site meetings with General Contractor, when neededMaintain daily logs and other paperwork that can be required by the General ContractorUse an iPad to document daily progress on a projectMaintaining safe and clean working environmentComprehend and practice safe work proceduresMUST HAVE:2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.Strong industrial electrical backgroundStrong knowledge of the National Electric CodeAbility to safety operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.
